Tanya works with ACIMA’s clients to proactively advise, design, execute and oversee their investment needs by serving as primary advisor and relationship manager. Armed with an understanding of each client’s goals, risk tolerances, preferences, funding and liquidity needs, she evaluates and develops long-term investment strategies. Additionally, she cultivates strong collaborative relationships with other professional advisors to ensure alignment of the financial strategies with areas such as tax, estate and philanthropic planning. She brings over 29 years of experience in the financial industry to the team. Prior to joining ACIMA Private Wealth, Tanya was a Senior Investment Strategist for the Greater Virginia region of Wells Fargo Private Bank. As part of investment management, Tanya worked with the region’s largest and most complex clients to develop, recommend, and manage investment strategies. She executed customized strategies to help high net worth individuals and institutional clients meet their investment objectives while managing their risk. She specialized in asset allocation, portfolio management, equity and manager selection and client service.
Before joining Wells Fargo, she worked for five years as an Investment Consultant with Mercer Investment Consulting where she provided investment consulting services in all aspects of investment management for sponsors of retirement plans, educational endowments and foundations. Tanya developed investment and spending policies, designed asset allocation recommendations, evaluated and selected investment managers.
Tanya earned a BS degree in mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from The College of William and Mary. In addition, she is a CFA® charterholder, a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Virginia.
Tanya serves on the Advisory Council for the Richmond Ballet. Tanya and her husband, Eliot, have two children. She enjoys spending time with family, attending her childrens’ activities and sporting events, and exercising.
